What to wear

Autumn formal. Kilts and tartan are very welcome. Bring something warm for the gardens.

October weather

Usually 50–55°F (10–13°C) in the day, around 40°F (5°C) at night. Rain is likely at some point.

Shoes

Please choose your shoes with care. The ceremony is on grass and gravel, the lawns can be soft in October, and the ceilidh will keep you on your feet all night. Block heels, flats or boots will save your evening. And yes, sneakers are welcome on the dance floor. A ceilidh is basically cardio with a fiddle.

Unplugged ceremony

We'd love you to keep phones away during the ceremony. Our photographer will share everything.
